The MASPE zero is a customized, miniscrew-assisted slow palatal expansion appliance designed for controlled maxillary widening—ideal for adult and non-growing patients seeking airway enhancement, TMJ support, improved breathing, and functional bite correction.
Developed as a bandless, TAD-supported system in a fully digital workflow, MASPE zero utilizes a gradual expansion protocol that promotes true skeletal changes with excellent biological adaptation. It minimizes unwanted dental tipping and eliminates significant midline diastema through integrated simultaneous clear aligner therapy, which balances reciprocal forces and guides precise tooth movement for aesthetic and harmonious outcomes. This combined approach makes it highly effective for a wide range of cases, including those requiring predictable, patient-friendly expansion.
When paired with palatal TADs (temporary anchorage devices), it delivers stable skeletal anchorage while supporting slower, calibrated activation—seamlessly coordinated with aligner progression for enhanced comfort, stability, and long-term results. Compatible with digital design platforms for precise customization, each MASPE zero appliance empowers providers to offer a sophisticated, minimally invasive solution tailored to modern orthodontic and airway-focused care.
