Mike Wright is the CEO of ODL Orthodontic Lab. A lab technician by trade before he led the company, he moved ODL to one of the industry’s first 3D-printed production workflows and helped grow the lab tenfold since his family took it over in 2017.
CEO of ODL Orthodontic Lab (Orthodent Laboratory, Inc.), Buffalo NY. One of three fifth-generation family owners, he took over the lab with his brother Tom and brother-in-law Brendan from founder Jim Wright in 2017 and has grown the business roughly tenfold. He attended Franciscan University and earned his MBA from Medaille University. In his words: “We’re probably one of the first industries where we’re using 3D printing for production, as opposed to using 3D printing for prototyping. We’re probably able to print out two to three hundred models every day.”
